Incense Royale
Profile:
Spicy, Floral, Powdery, and Animalic.
Backstory:
This one builds on the osmanthus-fruity-sandalwood Nectar base, but here, I’ve taken it somewhere deeper—anchored by a Civet Royale structure: rich, animalic, spicy, and floral. Then, it turns majestic.
It opens with a harmony of rose, Australian sandalwood, Moroccan orris, and Indian jasmine sambac—together, they form this narcotic haze that just pulls you in. I kept coming back to it while blending. It’s the kind of scent that lingers in your head long after you've stepped away. Then comes the heart: wild incense Cambodian oud powder, cultivated White Kinam, and Siberian musk—macerated at 10% in Mysore sandalwood. Heavy materials, yes—but handled with a soft touch. This is my take on animalic incense. Dense. Warm. Quietly addictive.
