This composition is focused on beaver extracts and executed in a vintage style. It brings together all the nuances of animalic leather, from vintage tar oil, Indian oud, and smoky birch tar to narcotic osmanthus. Cuirtis is where the forest meets leather.
Top notes: Russian castoreum, USA beaver tail oil, osmanthus, cumin, and juniper berry.
Heart notes: birch tar, parijat flower, vintage geranium, rose, aged co-tincture of orris, vanilla, and USA castoreum.
Base notes: tar oil from circa 1920s, vintage-style cuir de Russie accord, Manipur oud from 2005, Canadian castoreum, oakmoss, and violet leaf absolutes.
